Originally from Minneapolis, I spent the last several years between the coasts in Portland, OR. and Portland, ME. I moved after my partner passed away suddenly, and the pandemic put us all into isolation. I was regularly treated at the community acupuncture clinic in Portland, OR. and it gave me a place not to hide my suffering but to be among others healing. There were elderly folks, protestors who had gone through trauma, people dealing with addiction, and loss. People who had chronic pain and others needing help with life cycle issues. All of us sitting comfortably among one another, napping, and letting the needles shift our energies for the better. I knew I needed to bring more community acupuncture back to Minneapolis, my home.
I have been seeing patients for almost 20 years and have found that
it is often small things and not heroic measures that keep people afloat from day to day. Whatever hurts, be it physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual, it is my goal to provide a dependable, consistent refuge for peace. I use acupuncture and massage as a conduit because these are energetic as well as physical modalities. These modalities are able to facilitate conversations within the body when it is in pain, that allows it to rest deeply. That rest creates harmony in the body feeling well enough to then coordinate the activities of the mind.
I am grateful to to the many visionaries who have shaped me and guided me to look through the lens of love instead of fear, especially; William Capel Slack, Horst Rechelbacher, Jon Kinder, and Daniel Polnau.

-MASSAGE through my hands is a blend of TuiNa, Thai, and Deep Tissue. I have studied bodywork in India, Thailand, Nepal, and China, as well as the US. My massage has often been commented on as deep, energizing, and relaxing, and always a custom fit.
-FIRE CUPPING is a therapeutic technique that involves placing glass cups on the skin to create suction. This helps to increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote relaxation. Cupping can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including muscle pain, respiratory issues, and anxiety.
-GUA SHA is a technique done with repeated rubbing on an area of the skin with a small wooden tool. It is used to bring pain (trapped energy in the tissue) up to the surface of the skin and wash it out via the bloodstream.
-assisted STRETCHING is taken from Thai Yoga Massage and helps to target, move, and release stuck and stiff areas in the body.
Any and all of these may be incorporated into your massage session.
